Eligibility/Qualification:
- Must hold a recent master’s degree or equivalent degree in a relevant field of study
- Good grades in the master’s degree (at least 60% of the maximum grade in both taught courses and the master’s thesis)
- Demonstrable English language skills as per specified criteria
Job Description:
The University of Oulu is seeking highly motivated and talented doctoral researchers in various areas of water research to join research teams. The positions cover a range of thematic focuses and require diverse educational backgrounds, including hydrology, ecology, water resources engineering, water supply, water management, social sciences, ICT, and data research. Successful candidates will engage in groundbreaking research related to complex interactions and responses in the hydrosphere, methodological challenges of dealing with big data, environmental processes under climate and land-use change pressures, and more.
