Postdoc in Multi-Omics Foundation Models: The University of Copenhagen is seeking a highly motivated and talented Postdoc fellow to join the Rasmussen Group at the Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Basic Metabolic Research. The postdoc fellowship is part of the CBMR International PhD & Postdoc Program.
Designation: Postdoc in Multi-Omics Foundation Models
Research Area: Development and application of computational algorithms for analysis and integration of multi-omics and multi-modal data within cardiometabolic disease.
Location: Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Basic Metabolic Research, University of Copenhagen, Denmark.
Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD in Biology, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, Data Science, or relevant field.
- Strong scientific track record in machine learning and/or deep learning.
- Experience in analyzing bulk or single-cell omics datasets.
- Proficiency in programming.
- Excellent English communication skills.
Job Description:
The postdoc project aims to develop patient-level multi-modal foundation models for studying cardiometabolic disease using data from international biobanks. The successful candidate will be involved in developing state-of-the-art deep learning-based models and interpreting results for dissemination through presentations and manuscripts.
