Starting Date: October 1st, 2024
Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD degree in plant/soil/environmental physics with a strong academic publishing record.
- Proficiency in quantitative analysis of environmental datasets and modeling (Matlab, R, or Python).
- Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of French is desirable.
- Must not have been a Belgian resident for the last 3 years.
Job Description:
- Conduct research on subsoil health and optimal management.
- Develop and validate holistic indices of subsoil health.
- Investigate sustainable subsoil practices and their impact on ecosystem service benefits.
- Collaborate with project partners on subsoil properties and root development.
- Publish scientific articles and present findings at international conferences.
- Assist in coordinating project agendas, milestones, and deliverables.
- Organize scientific events and workshops.
