Postdoctoral Research Position in Cell and Molecular Biology

Eligibility/Qualification:

  • PhD in related field
  • Experience in cell and molecular biology
  • Familiarity with microscopy techniques and microbial eukaryotes (preferred)
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team

Job Description:

  • Investigate Nephromyces symbionts using fluorescence and electron microscopy
  • Analyze cell lifecycle stages and structural characteristics
  • Utilize genomics and single-cell RNA-Seq data for biological and evolutionary interpretations
  • Collaborate with Prof Christopher Lane at the University of Rhode Island
  • Adhere to the principles of the San-Francisco Declaration on Research (Assessment DORA)
