Eligibility/Qualification:
- Hold a PhD obtained within the past five years or expect to obtain one by the start of the post
- Demonstrated research experience utilizing enzyme and genetic manipulation
- Proficient in English communication
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external research partners
Job Description:
The selected candidate will be involved in exploring the biosynthetic diversity of β-NAD derived natural products from Southeast Asian plant symbiotic fungi and bacteria, studying biosynthetic pathways and enzymes to create active compounds. The project is anticipated to run until 31 March 2028, and the appointee will receive developmental guidance from their supervisor while conducting laboratory research programs.
