Eligibility/Qualification
- Candidates must possess a Ph.D. by the start date
- Outstanding writing, communication, and research skills
- Interest or experience in computer science education research
- Desired interest or background in education of English language learners, K-12 education, curriculum development, and teacher professional development
- Local daytime travel to schools in Southern California required (own transportation needed within 30 days)
- Fluency in Spanish is desirable but not required
Job Description
- The postdoctoral scholar will design curricula, implement professional development activities, collect and analyze data, write reports, articles and presentations, prepare grant proposals, manage relations and communications, supervise student researchers, and submit human subjects protocols. The position, mentored by Distinguished Professor Mark Warschauer, aims to support the candidate’s progression as an educational scholar.
