Job Description

The PhD candidate will join a research group focused on understanding the genomic basis of adaptive evolution. Responsibilities will include:

  • Analyzing -omics data to identify transposable element insertions
  • Investigating factors determining the abundance, diversity, and activity of transposable elements
  • Assessing the functional effects on gene expression and transcriptome diversification across different species
