Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Sciences or a related field
  • Focus on neural networks or machine learning and image recognition
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Experience in software development, especially in image processing applications using Python or related languages

Job Description:

You will be part of a joint research project at GEOMAR, Kiel University, and the Max Delbrück Centre, working at the interface of Computer Science and Biological Oceanography with a keen focus on Computer Science aspects. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, engage in neural networks, image processing, and dive into new topics.
