PhD Candidate in Theoretical Chemistry: NTNU is offering a scholarship opportunity for two PhD candidates in Theoretical Chemistry. The successful candidates will work on developing advanced electronic structure methods in molecular response theory for various complex environments. The positions involve significant software development work and collaboration with experimental groups.

Eligibility/Qualification:
- Professionally relevant background in physical and theoretical chemistry
- Completion of a five-year Norwegian degree program equivalent to 120 credits at the master’s level
- Strong academic background with an average grade equivalent to B or better
- Proficiency in English
- Admission to the faculty’s doctoral program
- Master’s degree completion before starting the position
Job Description:
- Develop advanced electronic structure methods in molecular response theory
- Collaborate with the eT program developer team
- Engage in software development
- Work on time-resolved spectroscopies modeling in collaboration with experimental groups
