Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD or equivalent qualification in a relevant field by the date of employment.
- Prior experience in tissue culture, flow cytometry, and animal models is essential; additional experience in molecular biology, immunology, and biochemical techniques is a plus.
Job Description:
As a Postdoctoral Associate at Dr. Lou’s Laboratory, you will:
- Perform injection, tissue collection, clinical evaluation, and analyzing of results in animal experiments.
- Conduct immunoassays, flow cytometry analysis, mammalian and bacterial cell cultures, DNA preparation, and protein purification.
- Plan and schedule experiments consistent with ongoing research projects.
- Support faculty and staff in the research group, as well as external partners, in communicating results, figures, charts, and tables as needed.
- Assist with the preparation of regulatory documents, manuscripts, and grants.
- Compile results and prepare technical reports and documentation of outcomes.
- Supervise other personnel in the laboratory and participate in training of fellows, residents, students, and volunteer workers as needed.
