Eligibility/Qualification:
- Hold a UK bachelor’s degree with Upper Second Class honors in Chemistry or related subject OR overseas equivalent with equivalent grades OR a master’s degree with overall ‘Merit’ in Chemistry or related field.
- Meet English Language proficiency requirements.
- Open to applicants eligible to pay UK tuition fees.
Job Description:
- Work on engineering heterogeneous glycosystems targeting various bacterial populations with high selectivity.
- Employ an interdisciplinary approach combining polymer and glycochemistry.
- Characterize materials using SEM, AFM, and TEM.
- Assess efficacy against different bacterial strains.
- Receive training from an expert supervisory team in chemistry, natural products, and microbiology.
