Eligibility/Qualification:
- Candidates should have a strong background in solid-state battery chemistry.
- A Ph.D. in Chemistry or a related field is required.
- Proficiency in experimental platforms for studying interfacial transport and degradation mechanisms.
- Experience in electrochemical testing and local structural characterization techniques is preferred.
- Familiarity with computational materials discovery is an advantage.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will work within an interdisciplinary team dedicated to exploring, synthesizing, and testing sustainable materials for solid-state battery applications. Responsibilities include:
- Developing experimental setups to investigate interfacial transport in cathode materials and novel halide-based electrolytes.
- Conducting electrochemical testing and utilizing structural characterization techniques like FIB-SIMS and solid-state NMR.
- Collaborating with project partners on materials synthesis via computational methods.
- Engaging with fellow groups within the university working on energy materials.
- Leading collaborative projects with partner universities.
