Description
The IMPRS focuses on understanding fundamental biological processes in plants, aiming to empower innovative plant breeding. The program includes:
- Over 30 research groups investigating regulatory networks controlling traits such as reproductive development, organ geometry, growth, innate immunity, and the effects of microbiomes on plant performance.
- The application and development of cross-disciplinary technologies ranging from genetics and genomics to structural biochemistry, advanced imaging, and computational modeling.
- An exceptional international research environment with advanced facilities and experienced faculty.
