Eligibility/Qualification

  • A Master’s degree in physics, physical chemistry, or closely related field.
  • Strong experimental skills with an interest in advanced measurement techniques.
  • A creative mindset, excellent analytical skills, and a good team spirit.
  • Fluent in English, with proof of proficiency (IELTS score of 6.5 or above, TOEFL score of 90 or equivalent).

Description

The PhD position is part of a project that seeks to investigate the fundamental properties of electrode-electrolyte interfaces and their behaviors under electrochemical reaction conditions. Candidates will leverage high-resolution AFM to probe the molecular structure of these interfaces and collaborate with theoretical modeling teams to interpret experimental data effectively. The successful applicant will also engage in the educational activities of the department, contributing to the supervision of student projects.
