Eligibility/Qualification
- Master of Science (MSc) degree in Plant Sciences, Agronomy, Plant Breeding, Plant Eco-Physiology, Biology, Botany, or related disciplines
- Knowledge of plant physiological processes and plant-environment interactions
- Prior experience with imaging-based plant phenotyping (preferred)
- Experience with experimental design and statistical analysis using R-software or similar
- Proficiency in written and spoken English; knowledge of German is an asset
Description
The position involves characterizing root and shoot architecture in selected rye genotypes using advanced imaging-based phenotyping platforms. Responsibilities include deriving quantitative physiological traits, analyzing phenotypic associations with genetic diversity, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary network. The candidate will publish research results in peer-reviewed journals and present findings at scientific meetings.
