Eligibility/Qualification
- Education: Ph.D. in chemistry, biochemistry, or a closely related field.
- Experience:
- Advanced NMR techniques: pulse sequence development, multi-nuclear and multi-dimensional experiments.
- Prior experience with hyperpolarization techniques is highly desirable.
- Other Requirements:
- Candidates must have obtained a PhD within the past three years or expect to complete their PhD within 6 months of appointment.
Job Description
This postdoctoral position will involve research to set up and exploit parahydrogen-induced polarization (PHIP) to:
- Enhance the sensitivity of quantitative NMR, achieving unprecedented limits of detection.
- Enable the utilization of a broader number of nuclear spin qubits for complex quantum algorithm simulations.
The individual will work closely with a multi-disciplinary team of expert researchers and technicians and will have access to unique world-class facilities.
