Eligibility/Qualification:
- A PhD in Chemistry, Physics, or a related discipline
- Documented experience in molecular dynamics (MD) simulations and enhanced sampling methods
- Experience with alchemical binding free energy calculations is a plus
- Strong programming and scripting abilities are highly desirable
- Excellent command of spoken and written English
Job Description:
As a Postdoctoral Researcher, you will work under the guidance of Dr. Marco De Vivo and will be part of a dynamic and interdisciplinary team. Your main responsibilities include:
- Conducting molecular modeling and simulations of all-atoms systems
- Collaborating closely with experimental researchers in medicinal chemistry and biochemistry
- Utilizing advanced computational methods such as molecular dynamics simulations and machine-learning-enhanced sampling
- Documenting practical work using lab workbooks and presenting findings to the team
- Engaging in projects that dissect the mechanisms of function and inhibition of pharmaceutically relevant targets
