Description
The doctoral candidate will work exclusively on the MSCA programme for 36 months, developing synthetic cell models that replicate neuronal cells. The focus will be on studying the interactions between protein condensates and biomembranes, assessing how these interactions affect membrane permeability, and comparing results with living neuronal cells. The project involves advanced imaging techniques, including fluorescence microscopy, electron microscopy, and 3D cell culturing processes. The candidate will also have opportunities for secondments at collaborating institutions (Max Planck Institute and University of Groningen).
