Research Area

Eligibility/Qualification
- A Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Mathematics).
- Strong knowledge of optimization techniques (linear programming, combinatorial optimization).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, or Julia.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Preferred: Experience in transportation/logistics, familiarity with optimization tools, and experience working with real-world datasets.
Description
As a PhD candidate, you will work closely with Amazon Science Teams and TU Delft faculty to develop cutting-edge AI/ML algorithms to address real-world challenges in logistics and transportation. Your research will focus on algorithmic innovations that optimize delivery routes, manage dynamic demand, and ensure sustainable logistics. You will have access to mentorship, real-world problems, and a dynamic research environment.
