Scholarship Description

This fully funded PhD position offers an exciting opportunity to work within the dynamic and expert Garrido-Barros group. The research encompasses synthesis, photophysical evaluation, and the development of catalytic systems aimed at energy conversion and small molecule activation. Eligibility

  • Degree: MSc in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
  • Skills:
    • Knowledge in coordination chemistry, photo- and electro-chemistry, or homogeneous catalysis for organic synthesis/small molecule activation.
    • Proficiency in synthesis, NMR, UV-Vis, IR, X-Ray, and operation under inert atmosphere (Schlenk line, glove box).
    • English language proficiency (minimum B2 level).
  • Additional: A personal interview may be conducted if required.
