Research Area:
The research focuses on investigating the mechanisms underlying chronic liver diseases through human samples, animal models, and in vitro assays, contributing to the advancement of knowledge in immunology, hepatology, and pharmacology.
Eligibility/Qualification:
- A Master’s degree (or expected completion) in Medicine, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biomedical Sciences or Veterinary Sciences.
- Excellent communication and writing skills in English.
- A driven and curious PhD student with an interest in immunology, hepatology, and pharmacology.
- Experience with relevant techniques is a plus but motivation and eagerness to learn are equally important.
Description:
The successful candidate will be part of a collaborative project aimed at unraveling the pathogenesis of chronic liver disease. Responsibilities include utilizing various techniques, such as qRT-PCR, ELISA, Western blot, Luminex, Flow cytometry, FACS, and (Single cell) RNA-seq for research purposes. The fellowship will provide opportunities for groundbreaking research and will offer a comprehensive salary package including benefits like training opportunities, 36 days of holiday leave, and allowances.
