Description
Ghent University is at the forefront of developing composite solutions for hydrogen storage tanks that are crucial for the success of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles. This PhD research will involve experimental measurement of physical and mechanical properties, instrumentation, data acquisition on full tanks, and exploring solutions for structural health monitoring in partnership with industrial stakeholders. The selected PhD researcher will join a dedicated team of doctoral and postdoctoral colleagues to tackle this essential and challenging research topic.
