Eligibility/Qualification

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Strong motivation and enthusiasm for research in the specified field.
  • Good team spirit and ability to work in an interdisciplinary and internationally oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow is a plus.

Description

As a PhD candidate in the DMB group at the University of Twente, you will conduct original research involving the development of novel algorithms for perceived emotion recognition using multimodal analysis of social communication cues in videos. You will collaborate with experts in computer vision, machine learning, and related areas, contributing to advancements in understanding human behavior. The position offers a dynamic research environment and a training program as part of the Twente Graduate School.
