Research Area
The doctoral project will focus on probability theory and may cover topics including but not limited to:

Eligibility/Qualification
- A Master’s degree or a 4-year Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Mathematical Statistics, Computer Science, Physics, or a related field (to be completed before employment begins).
- Strong communication skills in both oral and written English.
- Experience in one or more of the following areas is meritorious: measure-theoretic probability, stochastic processes, stochastic analysis, partial differential equations, functional analysis.

Job Description
As a doctoral student, you will:
- Engage in research projects in probability theory under the guidance of Associate Professor Pierre Nyquist.
- Develop your independent ideas and communicate scientific results clearly.
- Participate in approximately 20% departmental work, primarily involving teaching duties.
- Be enrolled in a graduate program at the Department of Mathematical Sciences.
