Eligibility/Qualification

  • Doctorate in a relevant field, completed before the end of the application period.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
  • Candidates with diverse perspectives are encouraged to apply.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in conducting research through design fiction and critical design.
  • Familiarity with participatory design methods, especially involving under-represented groups.
  • Skills in prototyping, illustrating, and designing virtual spaces.

Job Description

The Postdoctoral Research Fellow will primarily focus on the Speculative approach of the InterReal project, facilitating speculative design activities and engaging in the creation of future scenarios, artifacts, and translations. Responsibilities include:

  • Leading speculative design workshops and participatory sessions.
  • Developing innovative prototypes.
  • Engaging in academic activities such as publishing research papers and presenting at conferences.
  • Collaborating with the research team through seminars and joint research initiatives.
  • Contributing to the overall vision of the project while influencing their research emphasis within its scope.
