Research Area

Eligibility/Qualification
- Completed Master’s degree in political science, international relations, area studies, political psychology, sociology, or a related field before September 1, 2025.
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Experience with independent scholarly research and ability to utilize quantitative or qualitative methods.
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
- Willingness to learn and adapt.
Description
As a Ph.D. candidate, you will be part of a dynamic research team investigating how public opinion influences military alliances and decision-making. The project involves empirical data collection and analysis, maintaining an online database, and contributing to mixed-method experiments and dissemination activities. You will work closely with faculty members and have opportunities for independent research aligned with the MICROCODE project’s objectives.
