- Motivated, independent, and collaborative researcher
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Job Description:
The postdoctoral researcher will work on the ERC Starting Grant-funded project REPLICATE, aiming to develop self-replicating antimicrobial peptides. The project seeks to understand and optimize molecular self-replication processes to tackle the global issue of antimicrobial resistance. The selected candidate will:
- Design and synthesize self-assembling antimicrobial peptides
- Study and optimize their supramolecular assembly properties
- Evaluate their biological activity in bacterial and human cells in vitro
- Contribute to publications and presentations in scientific conferences
