Job Description
The PhD project will focus on investigating mechanisms by which potential host gene editing processes increase the diversity of antigen receptors using invertebrate model systems. The student will be involved in:
- Advanced experimental techniques including CRISPR/Cas9 mutagenesis, imaging, genomics, and single-cell transcriptomics.
- Collaboration with various researchers at the Department of Molecular Biology, the Laboratory for Molecular Infection Medicine Sweden (MIMS), and the Umeå Center for Microbial Research (UCMR).
