Eligibility/Qualification:
- A doctoral degree in engineering, technology, physics, or other relevant disciplines with sufficient data science training.
- Proven experience in data sciences, including contributions to open-source code, projects, and peer-reviewed publications.
- Expertise in analysis and interpretation of time-series datasets.
- Strong statistical skills and proficiency in programming languages such as R or Python.
- Experience with tools like Git/GitHub, pandas, NumPy, dplyr, Matplotlib, and ggplot2.
- Additional skills in data acquisition, database management (AWS or equivalent), statistical modeling (SciPy, caret, lme4), machine learning, or data visualization (d3.js, plotly) are considered assets.
- Proficiency in French is not required but will be considered an asset.
Job Description:
The postdoctoral fellow will be responsible for:
- Cleaning, exploring, and selecting features from large datasets.
- Training and testing models for data analysis.
- Developing statistical models and visualization techniques to interpret results.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary and international team of researchers in thermal physiology, public health, and environmental engineering.
