Eligibility/Qualification

Description

The PhD project is part of a collaborative initiative aimed at innovating biosensing technologies for monitoring low-concentration molecules such as proteins, drugs, and nucleic acids. The research involves developing sensor architectures, data analysis, sensor precision, and calibrations using a novel sensing platform based on Biosensing by Particle Motion (BPM). Candidates will also participate in international competitions and symposiums organized by the Molecular Biosensing group (MBx).

Employment Conditions:

  • Intermediate evaluation (go/no-go) after nine months.
  • 10% of work dedicated to teaching tasks.
  • Salary: €2,901 – €3,707 (according to the Collective Labour Agreement for Dutch Universities).
  • Additional annual benefits include an 8.3% year-end bonus and 8% annual vacation pay.
