PhD Position on Foundational Cryptography: Chalmers University of Technology is inviting applications for a PhD position in Foundational Cryptography. The successful candidate will join the Crypto Team and Security Group, working under the supervision of Christoph Egger. The research will focus on areas such as fine-grained and bounded space cryptography, idealized models, and the relationship between cryptographic notions. Extended research visits are encouraged during the doctoral study.

Eligibility/Qualification:
- A Master’s degree in mathematics, computer science, or a related discipline.
- Strong interest in the mathematical analysis of algorithms, particularly cryptography.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Commitment to contributing to academic research and teaching activities.
Job Description:
- Conduct research in the field of foundational cryptography.
- Publish research findings in academic journals and present at conferences.
- Participate in 20% teaching activities within the department.
- Engage with the Chalmers Security and Privacy Lab and Crypto Team in a collaborative research environment.
