Job Description:
The successful candidate will:
- Design and implement new synthetic pathways for organic molecules, transition metal complexes, and functionalized carbon nanomaterials.
- Analyze the electronic architectures and thermochemical properties of newly synthesized compounds using various spectroscopic techniques (NMR, EPR, IR, UV-Vis, Raman, XPS), crystallography, and electrochemistry.
- Apply the synthesized materials in energy storage and as selective sensors.
Throughout the duration of the project, the researcher will gain expertise in synthesizing and characterizing organic/inorganic molecules and nanomaterials, along with hands-on experience in energy storage and sensor device fabrication and testing.
