PhD (Marie Curie Fellowship): A fully funded PhD position is available under the prestigious Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) program. This research project focuses on developing novel molecular materials with a heptazine core, which have potential applications in thermally activated delayed fluorescence (TADF). The candidate will work on material synthesis, electrochemical characterization, and advanced photophysical studies, collaborating between ENS Paris-Saclay (France) and CNR Nanotec Lecce (Italy).

Study Area
The project focuses on molecular materials featuring a heptazine core, particularly for TADF applications. It involves synthesizing and characterizing two types of substituents—aliphatic or aromatic (thio)ethers and (electro)polymerizable donor groups—to enhance their properties for thin-film fabrication.
Scholarship Description
This PhD position is part of the Marie Curie COFUND LIGHTInPARIS project, supported by the Institute for the Sciences of Light (ISL) at Université Paris-Saclay. The program is co-financed by the European Commission with €3M in funding, enabling the launch of multiple PhD theses in the field of the Sciences of Light between 2025 and 2026.
