Description:

The PhD project aims to apply deep learning algorithms to high-frequency lake monitoring data to enhance understanding and management of aquatic ecosystems. The successful candidate will be involved in fieldwork, data curation, and applying machine learning techniques. This project is part of an initiative funded by Villum Fonden focusing on integrating AI into aquatic ecosystem models, which aims to improve projections and management of harmful algae blooms. The candidate will acquire skills in field monitoring, data science, and deep learning within a supportive and collaborative team environment.

How to Apply:

Interested candidates should submit their application via the link provided on the Aarhus University scholarship page. Note that candidates must upload a project description as a PDF, which can be the same as the project description provided in the announcement.
