Eligibility/Qualification
- Minimum requirement: Master’s Degree in Biomedical Sciences, Biology, Biochemistry, Data Sciences, or Bioinformatics or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
- Previous experience in relevant research methodology and technology is appreciated.
- Basic knowledge in gastrointestinal cancer model systems is an advantage.
- Advanced English Proficiency (C1 or equivalent) is expected.
- Collaborative mindset and proficiency in common tools for data analysis and bioinformatics.
- Willingness to work in an interdisciplinary and collaborative research team.
Description
The RTG 2978 mission aims to develop novel therapeutic strategies for colorectal, liver, biliary tract, and pancreatic cancers through innovative research combining mechanistic and translational studies. PhD candidates will engage in experimental approaches, participate in an interdisciplinary qualification program, and contribute to scientific publications while supervising medical students in their thesis work from the third PhD year onwards.
