Eligibility/Qualification:

  • PhD in Chemical Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a closely related discipline.
  • Experience with phage display workflows or related molecular biology techniques.
  • Expertise in the chemical synthesis of peptides and amino acids, including non-proteinogenic modifications.
  • Proficiency in operating and maintaining peptide-associated equipment (HPLC/LCMS, synthesizer, freeze dryer).
  • Ability to conduct biophysical assays for protein binding (e.g., fluorescence polarization assays).
  • Experience in mammalian cell culture assays.

Job Description:
As a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Chemical Biology, you will:

  • Drive a high-impact research program on peptide drug discovery, using techniques such as mRNA/phage display, solid-phase peptide synthesis, structure-based design, binding assays, and cell culture models.
  • Lead and mentor a team of junior research students, overseeing project design, skills development, and career mentorship.
  • Communicate research findings through writing manuscripts, grant applications, and presenting at conferences.
  • Manage partnerships with academic and industry collaborators.
  • Coordinate laboratory administrative tasks, including equipment maintenance and lab organization.
