Eligibility/Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in chemical education, discipline-based education, science education, or a related field at the time of appointment.
- Demonstrated project design experience (aligning research questions with theory, methods, etc.).
- Experience in data collection (interviews, classroom observations, surveys).
- Proficiency in qualitative data analysis (using software like ATLAS.ti, NVivo) and/or quantitative data analysis (using R, MPlus).
- Experience in writing publications and/or presenting at conferences.
- Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficient written communication skills.
- Ability to work with diverse groups/populations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience mentoring graduate/undergraduate students in research.
Job Description
The Postdoctoral Research Fellow will work on discipline-based education research projects, with the opportunity to propose and conduct a research project that aligns with their interests and those of the Pratt Research Group. The fellow will engage in various research methodologies including both qualitative and quantitative approaches.
Duties and Responsibilities:
