Eligibility/Qualification

  • A two-year master’s degree (120 ECTS points) in engineering, physics, mathematics, or a related field.
  • Excellent coding skills in Python.
  • Good writing and communication skills in English.
  • A solid understanding of energy system technologies and economics.
  • Experience with other programming languages and project management tools (e.g., GitHub) is advantageous.
  • Initiative and collaboration skills in teamwork settings.

Job Description

As a PhD researcher, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Structuring and curating large-scale datasets from open repositories.
  • Designing and implementing data analysis methods, including code development.
  • Leading the writing of scientific articles and presenting research findings at conferences.
  • Collaborating with academic and industrial partners in Denmark and internationally.
  • Strengthening the department’s competencies in computational modelling of carbon-neutral clusters within highly renewable energy systems.
