Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Basic Qualifications:
  • A PhD in materials science and engineering, physics, chemistry, electrical engineering, or a related field, completed within the last 5 years.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Background in aberration-corrected STEM and EELS.
  • Proficiency in Python or Matlab.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently and in collaborative teams.
  • Ability to function well in a fast-paced research environment and adapt to changing needs.

Job Description:

As a Postdoctoral Research Associate, you will:

  • Conduct materials research utilizing aberration-corrected scanning transmission electron microscopy (STEM) and electron energy loss spectroscopy (EELS).
  • Integrate advanced techniques within in situ environment or biasing platforms.
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, contributing to key projects.
  • Present and report research findings and publish results in peer-reviewed journals.
