Eligibility/Qualification:

- Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written.
- Minimum average grade of B on master’s degree subjects.
- Minimum grade of B on the master’s thesis.
- Admission to the doctoral program in Innovation for Sustainability at the Faculty of Technology, Art and Design is required within three months of employment.
Job Description:
This position is offered as a 3-year (100% research) or 4-year (75% research, 25% other career-advancing work) role. The research will focus on:
- Formulating and implementing a multi-objective QEA to address complex, real-world optimization challenges.
- Bridging the gap in existing QEAs designed for single optimization problems and adapting them for classical computing environments.
- Contributing significantly to the theoretical and practical advancements in multi-objective evolutionary algorithms.
The chosen candidate is expected to complete the PhD program within the specified timeframe.
