Eligibility/Qualification
- Ph.D. degree in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Biopharmaceutical Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in one or more of the following areas is desirable:
- Design, formulation, and characterization of nano drug delivery systems
- Biomaterials and oral drug delivery
- Biological barriers to nucleic acid delivery
- Cell culture and animal work
- Evidence of peer-reviewed publications in international scientific journals.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Availability to start in Summer 2025 is an advantage.
Job Description
- Conduct research under the supervision of the Principal Investigator (PI).
- Engage in training and professional development to enhance research skills.
- Gain experience in grant writing and publication processes.
- Participate in the dissemination of research findings and contribute to the broader research community.
- Support postgraduate research students in their daily research activities.
- Contribute to grants and assist with the financial management of research projects.
- Participate in GENEGUT’s Public Engagement programme by engaging in science dissemination activities for the public and schools.
