Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD in Chemical Engineering, Adsorption/Materials Science, or a related field in Science and Engineering.
- Strong academic track record.
- Expertise in IR spectroscopy and characterization of zeolites, MOFs, or other microporous materials.
- Proficiency in adsorption measurements on microporous adsorbents.
- Interest and experience in measuring and analyzing diffusion phenomena is a plus.
- Capability in developing measurement setups involving gases and vapors is an advantage.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English is essential.
Job Description:
As a postdoctoral researcher, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting advanced multicomponent adsorption experiments using innovative methodologies.
- Investigating adsorption kinetics and diffusivity of molecules within adsorbents.
- Collecting and analyzing multicomponent diffusion data for enhancing process design.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of scientists and engineers to leverage complementary expertise in materials synthesis, gas adsorption, and the characterization of porous materials.
- Contributing to the ERC project ‘KISSIES’ and participating in all project meetings.
