- MSc or equivalent degree in biology
- Profound knowledge in entomology, arthropod morphology & systematics, and/or insect ecology & evolution

- Excellent writing skills and organizational capabilities
Job Description
The PhD project involves:
- Investigating biodiversity and ecological traits of Steninae beetles across two elevational gradients in Arunachal Pradesh, India.
- Conducting morphological analyses related to mouthparts and tarsal systems.
- Performing phylogenetic studies and macroevolutionary analyses.
- Utilizing Scanning Electron Microscopy, 3D-reconstruction software (Amira), and analyses of videography footage.
The position is initially scheduled for 31 months, with a possible extension of up to 5 months.
