Research Area:

Eligibility/Qualification:

  • PhD in chemistry, physics, materials science, or an equivalent field
  • Proven scientific excellence with documented experience in:
  • Synthetic solid-state and materials chemistry
  • X-ray diffraction
  • DFT calculations
  • Published research in reputable peer-reviewed scientific journals
  • Independent, reliable with strong communication skills
  • Fluency in English (oral and written)

Job Description:

The successful candidate will engage in the following tasks:

  • Solid state synthesis of advanced materials
  • Crystallization processes from molten salts and ionic liquids
  • Structure analysis using X-ray and neutron diffraction
  • Property characterization with PPMS and SQUID magnetometers
  • Conducting ab-initio DFT calculations for property prediction
  • Data analysis, interpretation, and theoretical modeling
  • Establishing structure-property relationships
  • Collaborating with national and international research teams
  • Disseminating research findings through publications
