Eligibility/Qualification:
- Education: PhD in relevant fields such as biochemical engineering, bioprocess technology, or applied data science.
- Experience: Strong background in process modelling (mechanistic, statistical, hybrid models) and optimization.
- Skills:
- Programming skills in Python, R, and/or MATLAB
- Knowledge of machine learning algorithms
- Familiarity with USP/DSP processes (continuous/connected)
Job Description:
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Developing mathematical models (mechanistic, data-driven, hybrid) to characterize production systems.
- Designing experiments for model-based learning to support model development.
- Performing model verification and validation activities, utilizing historical and new data.
- Contributing as a subject matter expert to the establishment of in-silico models.
- Identifying challenges and proposing solutions while effectively communicating insights to internal partners.
- Collaborating with external vendors to implement innovative, model-based solutions.
