Job Description:

The primary objective of this research project is to investigate the potential and limitations of quantum benchmarking methods for Noisy Intermediate-Scale Quantum (NISQ) devices and early fault-tolerant quantum computers. Responsibilities include:

  • Researching no-go results for quantum benchmarking.
  • Developing benchmarking and noise characterization methods for early fault-tolerant quantum computers.
  • Collaborating with the Hamburg quantum software team of Universal Quantum.
