Eligibility / Qualification:
- PhD in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related fields.
- Proven hands-on experience with LC-MS (especially triple quadrupole, optionally Orbitrap).
- Expertise in liquid chromatography (RP-LC, HILIC, UHPLC), protein/peptide sample prep.
- Demonstrated experience in quantitative MS assays in biological samples.
- Familiarity with protein quantitation strategies (e.g., PRM, SRM, MS3, immunocapture).
- Proficient in analytical tools (e.g., Skyline, UniProtKB, PeptideAtlas).
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and team-oriented mindset.
- English proficiency required; German desirable or willingness to learn.
Job Description:
- Evaluate and implement advanced LC-MS approaches (micro-LC, MS3, immune-capture, etc.).
- Develop, validate, and implement LC-MS biomarker assays (focus on proteins).
- Perform sample prep, LC-MS analysis, data interpretation, and reporting.
- Ensure maintenance and operation of LC-MS systems and lab equipment.
- Contribute to lab organization and documentation under quality systems.
- Present findings internally and externally; publish where applicable.
- Train and mentor junior team members.
