Description
The PhD project aims to analyze and address challenges in ensuring timely and consistent access to medical test results. The research involves creating robust models and using advanced tools like deep reinforcement learning, queuing networks, and systems engineering. This project is in collaboration with Labmicta, a leading medical laboratory in the Twente region. The research will be part of the CHOIR (Centre for Healthcare Operations Improvement and Research) team, addressing issues like multi-appointment scheduling and resource allocation in healthcare.
