Job Description

The selected candidate will conduct research on the design, synthesis, and multi-nuclear, high-field NMR spectroscopic evaluation of environmentally benign and non-toxic novel decontaminating agents aimed at mitigating pesticide and nerve-agent toxicity. Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with research group members and coordinating with scientists from the Army Research Laboratories.
  • Preparing manuscripts for publication.
  • Writing progress reports and grant proposals.
  • Expected outcomes include publications in peer-reviewed journals, presentations at regional and national ACS meetings, and the development of decontaminating agents for DoD and commercial applications.
