This position is dedicated to understanding the decline and resilience of freshwater mussels in the face of climate change through a multifaceted research approach.

Job Description | – Analyze whole-genome resequencing data for genetic diversity, effective population size, demographic history, and selection scans – Investigate molecular responses to environmental stress using transcriptomic and epigenomic datasets – Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals – Participate in fieldwork in Croatia and Poland – Contribute to student supervision and develop independent research ideas within the project scope |
